What you need to know

The Shakti Headband targets key acupressure points around the sides and back of the head to help you:

There are two key ways to use your Headband:
1. Across the centre of your forehead to relieve head tension
2. Under your chin with the spikes targeting tension in your jawA light wrap is all you need for each spike to get started. Wear it for at least 15 minutes and let all that tension melt with each breath.
If you already own a Shakti Mat or Pillow, adding your Headband to your practice is a great meditation aid. You can also use it for a deeper savasana, or mental clarity at your WFH space.
Pro tip
• Take the pressure up a notch by wrapping the Headband under the base of your skull and resting your occipital bone on a yoga block.
• Experiment with the intensity once you’re used to the sensation by tightening or loosening the strap -
Pressing spikes into your face might look like the opposite of relaxing, but the Headband is designed to provide subtle pressure. There will be a slight sensation in the beginning, but that’s completely normal. Acupressure doesn’t work if you can’t feel it.
Circulation will increase and you’ll feel tension “let go” as pressure lifts from your head.
